    Getting started! Best starter Morphs???
Hey guys,I am in love with Ball Pythons and I need some help here, I'm trying to get started in this industry! What I'd like to know is what would the best morphs be to start breeding with?! I'm looking for a pair that could result in a wide variety of different morphs down the road after many generations! I've looked into things and I was thinking of starting with something like an Enchi or Pastel, maybe even both, because from what I have seen is that there are many morphs you can get out of those two but I'd like to know what you guys think. What is a good pair of BP's that you would recommend for myself?! The help would be most appreciated! Thank You! :)

I would start with a pair of females to raise up (add a 2-3 gene male later once they're up to size). I would definitely get the enchi, but I think I would go with yellow belly over the pastel (unless you got a female pastel yellow belly for both genes :D) because I really love what yellow belly does. One thing to keep in mind is to not settle for the first example of the morph you see (unless it is ridiculously amazing to look at!). Your main goal should be finding high quality animals for your breeding projects, even if they cost more than what you would expect the morph to cost (The old saying "you get what you pay for" can apply here.). Anyways, welcome to the forum and good luck in your future endeavors! :gj:

I think you should pick what appeals to you. My first girl was a ghost and then I added an bumblebee female and a pastel male het to ghost and then I added a black pastel female to get black pewters and then I added a mojo male and Im looking for a mojo female. Oh yea did I forget to mention, Im getting a normal het to piebald from my friend ;) . My suggestion is to go to this link and play around with the different morphs and see what you like. Good luck

Agree on the two females for now and adding in a male in 2 years when the females are ready to breed. If you buy adults, a pewter and an axanthic spider would be awesome.
