    My husband wants me to add a female spider to my collection, but he wants a dark colored spider. If I get a dark spider to pair with our pastel will it effect the color outcome of any bees produced? I know the pastel needs to be of good quality, and I believe ours is. I just don't want to possibly mess up the chances at a nice bee with a dark spider.

    The short answer is yes, it can affect the outcome.

    Yes. Brighter ingredients, in general, will produce brighter results. If the best possible Bees are your goal, you need the highest quality ingredients.
