I just wanted to post about this, because I know a lot of people are confused about whether to house in a tank or a rubbermaid. I went to wal-mart a few days ago, and picked up 1 of the biggest rubbermaids they had for 10 bucks. I had been keeping my bci in a 40 gallon tank. With no effort, my humidity is perfect, my temps are perfect, and my bci has a cage he'll be able to live in until he's an adult. I was so happy with the new set up that I went out and bought 3 more, and I am no longer housing any snakes in tanks. Rubbermaids are the way to go, for sure.

You found a Rubbermaid big enough for an adult BCI?? What size is it? I have 12 bucks left on my Wal-Mart shopping card... (and zero in my BCI fund... but just for future reference, lol)

Another good reason for going rubbermaid, you can keep upsizing cages without breaking the bank, than when your snakes just about done growing you can invest in a nice cage for him, like one from animal plastics, since thats gonna be his home for a good LONG time.
