Difference in Heaters, which is best?
Hey guys, I know there are a couple threads floating around similar to this but I have a couple specific one's that I was looking at picking up today and was going to gain your advice/intellect on the matter.

I have a medium size bedroom, old house, crap insulation and single pain windows...holds in heat like a sleeveless shirt. I am fighting ambients since to save on oil we keep the house about 65ish all winter long. My question to you is I am using a tub and a 10gal "fish" tank set up for my snakes with UTH and thermostats and I have thermostats for the heaters when I get them. Which do you feel is going to heat the room effectively enough for my ambients to stay in the 77+ range?

http://www.homedepot.com/Appliances-...&storeId=10051 the flat panel method and place it across the room for full room effect or

Blower-style heaters (in my experience) put a lot of surge on your breaker and burn more electricity. My concern with your first option is the 12-hour timer - make sure it doesn't automatically turn off when you don't want it to.

I have used this very successfully: http://www.target.com/p/holmes-hoh30...&term=radiator heater

Just make sure you get a thermostat for the heater. Do not rely on the built-in one for any unit you get.
