    Ummm... interesting technique!
So the male from my two-survivor spider clutch finally ate his first mouse, over a month after hatching... and if I didn't already know he's a weirdo (some definite spider-spinning going on), I may have been very scared by this sight!! Interesting technique, to say the least. :weirdface

(it was just a tiny hopper, btw - only looked huge going down)

    Don't worry, Mama - I'm still alive! :D

That is crazy! Keep us updated with future feedings. I want to see him when he's eating medium rats, lol.

LOL... now that WOULD be a sight! :P

I'm planning to sell him, though, so I'll have to ask his future owner if he continues eating upside-down.

My Fire Spider girl will strike while upside down, and she is just as good as if she were right side up.

Maybe it's just a spider thing? They are strange ones, for sure!

As I mentioned in the first post, he does have some spinning going on... not really a wobble, he just twists & turns occasionally (usually while trying to find a way out of the tub). I'm not sure if it's just him being a restless baby, or if it's something that will continue/increase with age. Guess I'll just keep an eye on him, and let any potential buyers know the issue. Obviously doesn't stop him from eating, though. ;)
