    Vision 211 Cage Q's
My first BP is finally to the size where I want to upgrade the cage to one that will hopefully be the permanent home. I've really liked what I've read and seen on the 'Vision Products 211' cage. It seems to be respected as a decent home for a baby-adult BP.

    I have a few Q's:

    1. Does this cage do a good job of trapping heat and raising ambient temps to sufficient levels? I live in a rather cold region and the winters in our apartment can get rather chilly and I'm afraid that a UTH by itself may be insufficient. I do have some flexwatt, but would love some alternative UTH suggestions if any of you use the 211 with other UTH.

    2. Does this cage do a good job of keeping the humidity levels at an adequate level? I live in a dry region as well and keeping the humidity up in the glass cage we have now has taken a lot of effort on my part (not so much now since I've finally built my own top that helps tremendously but I'd rather not have to go through that again and the 211 appears to be a very poor choice for one who may need to change the structure of the cage).

    3. Does this cage allow for the probe to be well hidden and put on the warm side? I don't want wires visible if at all possible but I want to be able to monitor the temps, but I don't see how this cage allows for the probe to be placed inside.

Overall, I live in the worst place possible to have a BP as the overall temp and humidity levels are terrible, but so far we've made it work. This 211 looks amazing and I'd appreciate honest feedback on UTH (what kind and whether it allows ambient temps to reach sufficient levels) and humidity (whether or not you need humid hides or whether misting is needed and/or even works). Thanks in advance. I love this forum.
