    snake rack
Hi I only have 2 snakes and was wondering if this tv stand would be a good snake rack. I have sterilite tubs and i was just going to adjust the level of the shelf according to the hight of the tub instead of using the pre-drilled holes for the shelf. Since i only have two snakes i am going to put them side by side on teh bottom and have the shelf above for supplies. Will the laminate put off any harmful chemicals when heated up by flex-watt? thanks

    here it is

    The Serpent Merchant
Particle board can give off toxic chemicals when heated, and doesn't handle humidity well (this doesn't matter if you plan on using lids with your tubs)

All in all something like this would be a better choice:

You can even shorten the tubes between each section to make a more traditional rack:

I recommend not using the TV stand. You could always go with a plastic storage rack and adjust the shelves to the exact height you need. This also is easy to use with Flexwatt as you heat source.
