Have any of your babies had RI simptoms and what did you do to treat it? If you took them to the vet, what medication was prescribed and how soon did symptoms go away? I'm just worried, thats all :(

    Should I worry?
As soon as I read your topic, I wanted to answer "Probably not" before I even read what you wrote. :)

I can't answer the question because it's not something I've had to deal with yet. But I do believe us worry-ers tend to see RI's in every odd move or sound our snakes might make. Shedding and feeding can also make strange little noises that could be mistake for RI. And sometimes they just act weird, like basking belly up for no apparent reason.

I'm not saying you should disregard any symptom you see. I know illness in snakes can rapidly progress to critical stages...sometimes before we're even aware they are there...and therefore a certain vigilance is certainly warrented.

If you're really afraid of an RI, then increase your temps and humidity a little and see if that helps to clear up any symptoms...and continue to watch closely.
