Ive got his temps perfect (91 hot spot, 82 ambient, humidity 70% 2 hides, nice tight fitting cage for his security)
but I noticed that after he found the hot hide, he hasnt left it since yesterday morning, and I dont want him to over heat.Is it normal for them to stay on the warm side for so long? Hes got a nice hollowed out log on the cooler side but hasnt moved yet.
And yes I worry over everything.cant help it.

Are both of the hides similar? While there is a small chance he may prefer one type over the other, it's not something to worry yourself over at this point. Remember that he's settling into completely different surroundings than what he's used to, and it may take him a couple of days to get his "new territory" staked out. If you haven't been watching him constantly since yesterday morning (especially @ night), there's a very good chance he's been out exploring while you weren't looking - remember, bloods & STP's are very nocturnal.

    Keep us posted!

Mine has been under his wam hide for five days now......
He may be switching sides while you're asleep. Have woke up in the wee hours on a few occasions and caught mine roamin.
    Don't worry, he's just comfy!
Is your bp in shed? I usually don't let my humidity get as high as 70 unless it's shed time. Usually keep it between 55 and 60.
