Any ideas to help him eat?
My yellow belly is being a butt about eating. His temps and humidity are good. He is a 2011 and seems small to me. He weighed in at 391 grams(his heaviest) on 8/10, and now weighs 339 as of the 14th. I offer a rat weanling once every Friday. I've tried mice, and even offered African Soft Fur pups..... NOTHING! He gets more interested in the ASFs, but refuses to strike. This little guy has always been an ok eater, but hes going on 11 weeks with out feeding. I know they can go on strike for ever but this is the longest for him. He is in a low traffic area. The only other room I can move him to is currently occupied by an obnoxiousness kitten I took in for a friend to re-home who already tries to eat my rats during cleaning. Until she gets moved out of there I don't want to risk it with him. Just this week I moved him to a bigger bin that is a darker color(not opaque) since he was getting cramped as it was. I even stopped handling him as often once he started refusing to eat. Any ideas at all?
Re: Any ideas to help him eat?
Whatever you come up with let me know. My female cinny ate 1 time the first week I got her and hasn't since (5 weeks).

What size tub are you using? I normally move my bps down a tub size and that does the trick. I try moving them up back up once they are feeding well again.
