    OMG!!! Breakthrough with trouble feeder!!!
Sorry to be so excited. My Dumerils boa finally ate a frozen/thawed willingly! We have been struggling for a very long time to transition him and tried just about everything in the book. We just happened to mention the struggles to the cashier at the pet store we were getting his weekly live rat pup when she mentioned getting some of the old rat pee'd on shavings and try scenting a frozen/thawed with that. We figured that it was worth a shot. Well, we tried it and he took it right away.

Both my boyfriend and I were shocked. I hope we can repeat this because this will put a lot of worry to ease with my snakie.

Glad to hear you got your snake to eat! I know that when we occasionally get a problem feeder and it finally eats, we get excited and high five. It is kinda weird that we get excited over a snake eating. Hope your little one keeps up the good work!
