Questions on female weight and hatchling ball pythons
I am a soon to be first time breeder, the female i will be breeding is 1800g, and over 4foot. I intend to feed her at least twice more before i breed her. She is always lively and looks bright and healthy, but i know female BP's tend to loose a lot weight with breeding and i wont risk her health.
    1) What would be a good weight for a 4foot female to breed at?
    2) How much weight should i expect her to loose? (like if she is 2000g before breeding will she be 1600g after)
    3) After the baby BP's hatch, absorb the yoke and come completely out of their egg, should i keep them in the tub (and incubator) until they shed?
    4) After the babies shed should i rinse them with room-temperature water, and separate them?

    Thanks in advanced.

Some more experienced keepers will chime in, but I know that my female only lost 100g from when she started breeding to right after she laid. She became an eating MACHINE when she started locking, and I just fed her up as much as she wanted, so she gained lots of weight, and gave me 8 big eggs.
How old is your female? Age matters more than weight, but 1800g sounds alright, as long as she is not visibly underweight.
I don't think I've heard of keeping babies in the incubator for the 10 days or so it takes to shed, but I have heard people leave them for 2-3 days. I took mine out as soon as I saw them out of the egg.
Babies are usually separated after they shed, again, everyone is different. I set mine up individually out of the egg.

the female is 3years 7 months old, she is not visibly underweight, but its just the ones i see on youtube are always puffed out looking. I don't think i will keep the babies in till after they shed, again i seen someone on youtube saying that lol.
