Fang hasn't eatin in 3 weeks
Fang has not had a meal in 3 weeks :( The last time I tried to feed him a week ago he was not interested and I left the ppre-kill in there over night when I woke up to see if it was gone the rat was moved and close to his hide. I couldn't tell if he regurgetade it up because the rats fur didnt look wet or slobered. I went to work and told my son to take it out. Should I try to feed him today or wait another week incase he did spit it up? I read on he before not to feed them after a regurge for at least two weeks because of their belly upset from them doing this. I have no reptile vets in my area which sucks I thought I had one only half -hour away from me but they closed down. I will say that when the weather changed and the house got cold is when this started because it was some work to get the inclousure to stay at the right temps. They are all right now though as my sons room is kept warm and I also installed a 20wtt heater in fangs inclosure but I will probly upgrade that when I have the money again as I dont think the 20 wtt is getting the job done

It will be pretty obvious if if had regurgitated it.

I would wait regardless. Offering too often only reduces your chances of a successful feeding.

I doubt it was regurgitated. If it was, you would notice the smell immediately. Regurgitations usually happen a few hours or days after after the food has been eaten. If anything he started eating it and then gave up and spat it out.

Re: Fang hasn't eatin in 3 weeks
Sometimes snakes will strike, constrict, but not eat (various reasons). Sometimes they can't find the head and just give up trying after a while (especially if it is a f/t and it is now cold). Some snakes are just really picky eaters. Some won't eat f/t at all, some won't eat white rats/mice, some won't eat male mice, etc. Then some won't eat for weeks, then all of a suddent it just kicks back in.

I have a female Albino that will not eat under any circumstances in any thing bigger than a 32qt tub (in a rack). She won't eat in terrariums/aquariums and stopped eating when I put her in a 41 qt tub. Some are just real picky eaters and have to be 100% comfortable to eat. Once I moved her back to 32qt she still didn't eat again for 3 weeks

In the wild snakes don't eat like clock work every 5-7 days like in captivity. Since Reptiles are cold blooded, they don't require the energy mammals need to keep their body regulated so they don't have to eat as often.
