flexwatt installation

When putting my flexwatt on my tank do i put the silver strips down or up towards the tank? And also do i put my thermostat probe in between the flexwatt and tank or below it?

Silver side up or down doesn't matter.

You want the thermostat probe to be inbetween the flexwatt and the bottom of the cage.
