Boyfriend suprised me with this little one...

Wanted to share a new addition: my boyfriend decided to surprise me with this guy today! Very unexpected and I had no idea, but I think he did good :) He's a little '12 baby striped California Kingsnake male, don't know his hatch date but I'm assuming it's within the last month or two so his new birthday will be September 18th 2012. He's just a wee 15 grams too! Just the cutest little thing: I can't get over how cute kingsnake babies faces are. This guy is actually pretty laid back too (only musked me once!) and I'm hoping he'll be a great little eater. Can't complain about his cool racing stripes either!

With him that brings my little Cali King family to 2.2: a male banded, this striped male, a mosaic morph female, and an aberrant female. :D I think they'll all make great babies one day.

Thanks guys! His personality (from what I can tell so far) is so much different than my other two baby Cali King sisters I got a little bit ago: he's always looking to see what's going on and even said "hi" to me this morning when I walked by his tub (came out of his hide to peek up at me) lol I think he's going to stay really laid back like my other sub adult male.

Very nice. I'll wager that's he's much older then you think. They grow according to how often they are fed as juveniles. Feed him every 4 days for a month and see what I mean.

That's true, feeding frequency does play a part. I'm only guessing since the other two little females I got at ~25 grams were a few months old but he sure could be older! My boyfriend forgot to ask his hatch date but I'm not sure if they would have known anyway. He'll be on a 5 day schedule along with my other baby Kings :)
