    Noob Question number 2
I know I know....but I'm still set on using a reptile glass tank..BUT! Don't they have covers that aren't screen to actually help keep humidity in? That is the main thing with glass tanks right? I know using a screen top...all the humidity escapes. Please advise! Thanks

    I don't know of a different cover.

I cover mine with foil tape, or a foil covered cardboard cut out. Others use a damp towel or plexiglas.

and that works without issues for you?

I was thinking about hot gluing something down over the screen top, so it could keep humidity in.

I Keep moss in my hides and I still mist. During a shed I make sure the moss stays damp, creating a humid micro climate in the hide. During non shed times I will mist and spray the moss, let it dry out and then mist it again a few days later. Has worked just fine for my ball and gives me great sheds.

My BRB has a fogger cause it needs constant high humidity but the top is covered with foil just the same.

I like having the foil because it is easy to take off if I need to.

I use foil as well. I mist once or twice a day, but with larger water bowls under the heat lamp, humidity is almost perfect :)

I use a most towel over the top and a good sized waterbowl. When she is getting ready to shed I also mist the cage a couple times a day.

That's why racks or so great. You lack the joy of watching them move around, but it 100x easier to create a good atmosphere for them then with a tank.
