    Shipping predicament.
    Hey all,

Many of you know I am getting that sweet sweet champagne. But Shipping is going to be $90 from Toronto (only 200 km away). I asked the seller why so much he said :

    shipping kit $20
    popak service 9.99
    Reptile Express fee 60
    89.99
    total

Now the problem is he is fairly close. 2 1/2 hours away. But the problem is that I only drive a motorcycle and its already put away for the cold weather so I usually get my mother to drive me anywhere. I would have no problem asking her to drive me up to Toronto IF we hadn't already been there twice at the end of September. One for a reptile expo and then again a week later to get my telescope and a bumblebee BP. So there is no way I can ask her to drive 5-7 hours again and it costs about $60 for gas anyways. And she didnt want me to get this champagne anyways lol but I couldnt beat the price or how unique he is.

ANYWAYS. I dunno what would you guys do? Fork over the $90 for shipping.... or what?

I would really like some help!!

    Thanks a ton everyone.

pay the shipping, the amound of money you may save comes back out of you and your mother for effort. Think $5 an hour for each of you for your time so $10 x 5 hours = $50 + $60 for gas = $110 total.

Yah thats true. Even more minimum wage in Ontario, Canada is 10.25 (and thats usually what my effort is worth lol) an hour so thats 102.50. So really it would be like $162 lol.

Well in ontario... your drivers licence for cars goes :

G1 - first level. Can only drive with some one who has had their G (3rd level) for a minimum of 5 years. You can not drive on any roads with a speed limit over 80. So no highways since they are 100. Have to have had this licence for atleast 10 months before upgrading to G2

G2 - Can drive any where you want with anyone.

G - Can drive anywhere you want with anyone but allowed to have a certain alcohol percent in your blood.

Well I have only had my G1 for 5 months now. So no I cant borrow the car :(
