    UTH and ambient temps?
    So I was told that a uth can help raise ambient temps but that didn't make sense to me considering flexwatt doesn't (I use heat lamps so I wouldn't know)....so do they?? Thanks in advance!!

    No they do not.

    UTH's like the ones sold by zoo-med/exo-terra are the exact same on the inside as flexwatt. The only difference is the casing and heat density. (watts per square inch)

    In tubs it does, in "fish" tanks not so much ;)

    My room is about 73 degrees and the ambient in my tubs are 76-77 cool end and 86-87 warm end with a 92 degree hot spot.
