    Small area of stuck shed
On the 6th I picked a female white diamond and a Russo male. I tried feeding this past Saturday and both refused. I was a little worried but figured no big deal maybe they were just going to take longer to settle in.
The male has been out at night for the past two night cruising but not the female.
I picked up her hide tonight to check on her and was surprised to find she had shed. I was going to let her be since tomorrow we are going to attempt to feed but I always check the shed and the snake.

She has a small area of stuck shed around her vent (?) area and tail. I really don't want to stress her out more than necessary so what's the best way to get it off? I tried a q-tip soaked in water and tried getting it off and I got a little off but I'm not sure that's the best way.

Humidity was in the high 70's and was even in the 80's till we got it balanced out so I was surprised to find stuck shed.

Wet a hand towel with warm water (water temperature in the mid 80's) then run the portion of the snake through the towel while applying some pressure. Repeat a few times and it should come off.

Thank you for the advice. I'm going to give that a try now.

Well that was umm different lol.

I started trying to get the shed off and some brown liquid starting coming out. Well ok I was worried she was going to have a issue going to the bathroom with the shed so i figured it was a good thing but wow for a snake that little :O can honestly say don't really need to see that again or smell it ;)
Pretty sure I got most of the shed off but after going to the bathroom she got super active.

Yeah, that can happen, I probably should have mentioned the possibility of that lol, sorry.

Lol, glad you got it sorted out. She will probably be hungry now!

fingers crossed! Tonight is feeding night.

I did lift up her hide to check on her and the tail area looked good so I think I got it all. Thanks guys! So glad I have somewhere to go for great advice.

Well she did not eat :( everyone else did but her. It's her second refusal and tomorrow will be 2 weeks since she ate last at the breeder. I know it's not too long of a time yet. I'm leaving it in there overnight in the hope she takes it.
