    humidity stuck at 45%
hey guys, heres my problem. i cant get the humidity in my tank higher than 45%, im using a tank with a screen top, uth, and heat lamp. half of the top is covered with a towel. ive got aspen bedding and some moss in there that i mist to get some moisture. any suggestions?

Try using Cypress Mulch instead of aspen, holds humidity MUCH better. Your screen top is not helping you any either. Worst case scenario is to use a wet towel on the top. This will hold humidity better as well. You can also use foil to cover more of the top.

    Cheers

you can also cover more of the top.
when I used tanks I would cover the whole top except for a small area where the light would go.

I covered all but enough to get some heat in from a light and put a damp towel over the same when they are about to shed, I say right when they start going into blue!!!!

    check your hygrometer?

staying at a constant 45 sounds like it is faulty it always will vary.
