    Weird feeding attempt.
I feed live. This week I threw the rat in as usual, and she came out to eat as usual. The rat wouldn't move and my girl wouldn't/couldn't find the rat. The rat was a little larger than normal. The snake and rat were 6" from each other and no go. The rat would not move at all. My BP lost interest.

The size shouldn't be a problem as it is 15% of her weight. 100 gram rat and my girl weighs a little over 700 grams.

Has that ever happened to anyone else? Just hid beside decorations and even when prided it would explore like a normal rat.

    Not worried just intrigued.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

Don't think I've had that happen but it sounds rather annoying, damn smart rats.

Hmm, if she has refused frozen thawed, she probably likes her food alive and kicking.

Yeah the rat was too smart. I have never seen one be so still or so long. Oh well.
