Which BP lines are known to have a wabble?
I am just getting started along the lines of breeding one day, probably not for a few years but I have just heard about the wobble of some lines. I plan on breeding as an introduction into genetics as well as care for others that we share our life with type lessons for my daughter. The breeding projects will not be for profit obviously and we will be breeding with our pets. I see the wobble as a possible neurological disorder related to a mutation that has been maintained in captivity and I would prefer not to have my pets suffer from the disorder. I am posting this thread just to get an idea of current morphs with the wobble so I may avoid selecting one to breed or to possibly trace a line back to in an effort to reproduce the morph without the wobble. Thank you for any information, I greatly appreciate it.
[doh, please disregard 'wabble' and replace with 'wobble']

No, I didn't take anything like that from your post. I was just stating (not so eloquently as Aaron) that it's not a result of captive breeding that can be selectively bred out of the spider morph. It's just something that's genetically linked to that specific mutation, but doesn't impact their quality of life. In severe cases, it might, but the vast majority of spiders and spider combos live long, healthy lives and I hear many people (myself included) who have their spiders be the best feeders of the collection. Here's a pic -ok, two - of my fatty spider female (just because I like to show her...)

Yes, it can show up or go away at any time. Most display a very slight wobble when they are stressed or excited but the rest of the time they do not.
