Getting rid of parasites

I didn't post this under BP husbandry because it applies to all pets, reptile and otherwise. I'm curious to know if anyone has tried Parazap and if so, what your results were. If it works, I can see making its use a regular part of quarantine procedures.

I have no experience with Parazap, but I do know that Panacur and Flagyl are effective in getting rid of internal parasites.

I know about those, but this is a product that you don't have to go through a vet to get, so it would be easier to use as part of regular quarantine procedures if it works effectively.

True. I'd be interested to know if it works too.

I have read about this product but have never used it.
We always vet check our animals that come in, wether they be bought from the best breeders or rescued from the most horrible places, we always get a fecal exam done, so I don't think we would use this product, as we need to vet check them anyhow, I think it is safer to just see the vet. As long as you have a good herp vet. I know sometimes that is not easy

Rusty, can you tell me whether you've heard things that were good, bad, or indifferent? There are a lot of people who live too far from a decent herp vet to have easy access, and for them a product like this -- if effective and safe -- could be a godsend.

I haven't known anyone to use it thus far, I will post feedback, if I hear of any.
I personally cannot find the full ingrediants to this product, and since it is not truly "herp related" I have a little doubt. I'll do some more research on it for you
