lesser x mojo clutch results. + a question for the experienced.
    1.0 lesser
    1.0 mojo
    1.0 bel
    1.0 normal
    0.1 normal

kind of a bummer on the sex ratio but im pretty ecstatic to have hit the bel.

would it be completely silly to keep the female normal to eventually breed back to dad with the idea of "dinking for platinums"?

Unless your lesser is a platinum, there's no platty daddy gene in your normal. If your lesser had the hidden daddy gene, it would indeed be a platinum. You can hold back the female to have a pretty normal breeder though!

Congrats on the BEL! The normal is just a normal. In order to get the "Platty Daddy" gene, you need to breed a Platinum to say a normal. My understanding is you would get Lessers and "het Platty Daddys".

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I am not sure I understand the question...

EDIT: After reading some of the responses I think I get it now! :) Sounds like the others got it right tho. :gj:

Oh yeah and congrats on hitting the BEL!

This is also what I have read as well.

Basically, there is no way a lesser carries the daddy gene, if it did, it would be a platinum.
All normals or non lessers from a platinum pairing would carry the daddy gene.

Edit: Yes, and a big congrats on a beautiful clutch! BEL <3!
