bci feeding schedule...

What's yours? Or, when your BCI was small (18 inches or less) how often did you feed? I am thinking one large mouse a week, but one site said that every ten days was preferable. I am just wondering what works for you guys...? I do not want to powerfeed and end up with a huge overfat boa with a shortened lifespan!

Once a week when she was small. Now I'm feeding her every 2 weeks or so. I was/am very concerned about powerfeeding, too. It certainly will not hurt to space the feedings out more, if that makes you more comfortable!

I fed him last Monday. He is in a shed now though, so I'll probably wait til tomorrow since he should be done by tonight (his eyes just went clear again yesterday.)
I am really glad I got this snake! His feeding response is great and he is not at all skittish. Thanks for all your good advice!
