What online site is the best place to buy frozen rodents? I bought from rodentpro before and the rats feel apar when defrosting.

I order mine from big cheese rodent factory in Texas. I like the way they package their rats. It's vaccum sealed to prevent freezer burn and the rats are on a styrofoam tray. I think the pinkies don't get vacuum sealed. I buy small rats, rat pups and weaned rats and they are vaccum sealed.

I order from Loxahatchee Rodents in Florida. I love them! They also vacuum seal their rodents so they stay fresher longer while in the freezer.

Use your resources and look around for reptile shows coming to your area. I went to my first last weekend and bought a 50 pack of F/T mice at a pretty good price for my 3 snakes. The show will be back in 2 months and I'll go back to buy more. And they'll be back 4 times next year. My feeding supply issues are solved for now. :)

Rats popping is from cooking them when defrosting not the supplier. It is likely you have too much heat when you are thawing.
