So I caught the addiction and i'm really in love with albinos, I think it reminds me of our albino Burmese at the zoo I get to work with, without the huge size :-) . So I have been stalking around and this weekend i'm getting ready to go to a small reptile show. i've seen price tags from 250-500, what is a reasonable price? I'm not thinking about breeding right now, though who knows if that could change down the road. Thanks for the help!

I would say $400-$500 for a female, but I have never been to a show, so I don't know how much cheaper that would be. I love albino's too. They are on my list eventually. :)

my best advice is shop the snake not the price. you know what market value roughly is. so find the one you like and remember money talks.

Pick what you like and cash in hand never hurts, especially if you're going to a show. There are variations of albinos, if you didn't already know that: high contrast, low contrast, "standard" albinos, etc. My albino boy was the first morph I bought and then it's been downhill from there, lol! Good luck and pics are always a plus if/when you get one!

I've looked at different pics, so far i'm a fan of standard albino, however i'm hoping there will be some variety that I can take a look at and see. i've been told not to have to much stock in this show so we will see.
My hope is to come home(and post pics) with a new friend and some feeders!

You're a fan of normal albinos until you go to a show like I did last weekend. The high contrast will blow your mind. Prices ranged from 300-600$ depending on male/female and colors. Definitely shop the snake, not the price. I went to the show with 300$ hoping to find an albino. Couldn't really afford one, but I fell in love with a little spider guy and took him home with a 50 pack of F/T mice. I left very happy. . . .now if I could just get him to eat.

Introducing my new buddy, he's in shed, but as advised I was handling him and fell in love...
