Feel the need to mention you might want to get different hides.

Ball pythons like tight, one entrance hides so they can feel secure.

Also, how heavy is that castle?

Looks good I would recommend different hides and I would also recommend covering 3 sides of the tank with something to block out light and line of sight. One of my snakes was a problem feeder until I surrounded 3 sides with aquarium background. Blacking out 3 sides will make him feel more secure and a less stress to you new little guy here is a pic of what I am talking about :)

I also made some nice tight fitting hides out of flower pots in the photo hope this all helps

The castle is'nt very heavy. I am going to get new hides and then just leave the logs in there to take up space. He has def been exploring when I came home lastnight he was in the castle I have it in the middle of the hot and cold side. Until I get background I have a blanket laid across the back and 1 side. Its still a work in progress lol

Ok well my snake just hissed at my husband. Y? is it because he just got here yesterday and is still trying to settle? And we are going to take the castle out! he keeps going inside and to the top maybe because he doesnt feel the logs are secure enough

Either he still is not secure in his new surroundings or he thinks you are a threat. I have one who will still his at me from time to time. I think he is just trying to be a tuff guy and I do not worry about it much:) Just remember baby snakes are food for other animal once he does not see you as a threat and settles in it should go away:)
