Saw this on my front porch today after some rain. I've never seen one like this. Anyone?

Are you on the west coast? Looks a bit like a pacific tree frog.

X2 on the barking tree frog. They have such a variance in color and pattern even with the ones in our apartment complex. Because ya know, I have to catch every one I see.

Cracked me up, I catch quite a few but under slightly different circumstances. :D

My falling to pieces car has weak seals on the doors so whenever I leave the house I have to open each and every one and grab the tree frogs taking refuge from the heat. Mostly it's small greens but I find a young barker every now and the occasional gray. I now leave the house 5 minutes early to give me time to round them all up then go wash all the pee off my hands. I sometimes miss one or two to find them flushed out and clinging for dear life as I'm rolling down the street. Can only imagine what people are thinking when they see me pull to the side of the road, jump out, and start running around the vehicle making grabs for them.

Thanks guys! He does pretty much resemble some of the barking tree frog pics I can find on google. I've never seen one here before! I love frogs.

Love it John! People don't understand how important frogs are. I get out and save them from the road in our neighborhood. I come in the apartment with a big smile on my face and cupped hands. Yes I am like a 7 year old when it comes to bug and frogs and snakes. If it doesn't get out of my way fast enough and there aren't too many people around, it's going to get caught and looked at.

I would love a vivarium with native species! Maybe when we get a house with a second bedroom and they can talk all they want at night. I already have the darts quacking away during the morning and afternoon.
