possibly a shatter?

I received this 3yr old **virgin* female from my neighbors who just lost interest in her. They thought she was a sable but to me she looks normal. She does have some scarring on her back but she sheds healthy and eats great! anyhow i was reading on shatters and noticed she has the same patch of grey scales in her pattern, i dont know if its enough to judge her a shatter pattern at all, im still learning but would like to hear others opinions, thanks! Also open to opinions on breeding ideas for her since i am stumped, was wanting to try a black pastel but have had to put that one on hold for now.

I'm not sure of the shatter pattern personally... Could the coloring oddity be a nutritional deficiency? IE, low quality feeders, or not enough? I would wait to see what it looks like after a good shed, after it has had some good husbandry and care for a while. But again, I don't have any experience with the Shatter gene.

ok, well ive had her for 6 months, just started her on medium rats 2 weeks ago (fed weekly) i use an aspen bedding, an undertank heater, and occasionally mist the enclosure as required. before i was feeding 2large mice and sometimes natal rats. Her last shed was roughly also a week ago. They did have problems getting food for her, i also used to be there mouse supplier. Shes mostly eating grain fed mice and natal rats i had raised. Even when i first got her she didnt want to eat for the first couple of weeks, but thankfully thats no longer a problem :)

Sorry, I assumed (I should know better by now lol) that she was a recent acquire. Hopefully more people with shatter expierience will chime in for you!

lol no worries at all, it happens to the best of us :) and thanks Tessa/demm, wasnt sure at all, i just remember reading about solid grey patches of scales in the pattern being a sign of a shatter, so of course i just had to wonder lol
