Are they usually like this?
I keep reading how everyone's boas come right up to them when they walk up to their enclosure, and are always out watching you or wanting to be held... Mine isn't like that. She's almost always in her hide or right next to it, except to drink. She is not aggressive at all, and acts like I am trying to kill her when I go to put her back in her cage after I am done holding her :P but she just doesn't seem like the "give me attention now!" boa that everyone describes. Is this just because she is relatively new (got her exactly a month ago), or because she is still small (130g), or do other boas also have this same personality? Just curious :)
Re: Are they usually like this?
Rex usually likes to lay by the mesh on his cage when he's active,or put his head by the door. He hates when I try to put him back in his cage, and usually wraps around my ankle.. quick question, does anyone have a red tail that exhales loudly? It sounds like a quiet hiss, but he does it once in every few breaths, and has done it for almost 2 weeks, thought it was an RI symptom, but he has nothing else going on,no wheezing, just a loud exhale..
