well, i decided to go ahead and try 2 give rex his 1st meal today. i came home from school and started thawing the mouse. i went up, and he struck at it a couple times, but didnt grab it. eventually, i laid it down, face to face with rex, and he opened his mouth and ate it. had some trouble with the front legs, but after those went in, it was easy for him. tha hole thing only took him 10min. i didnt think he would eat, but he did :D

Most excellent! And a good sign that he may be an easy-eater. It's great if all you have to do is lay the dead prey in front of him and he just proceeds to eat! (Some people, like Marla, have to play mouse-puppets for 30 minutes or so to convince their snakes the critter is really alive! LOL)

Hey! I heard that! LOL. I only have to do that with Hanover, and I don't plan on doing it forever. :)

Haha! Your snakes are spoiled rotten.... Such a rough life they lead.....

Snyder is right here reading this with me and she says they only get their due. :)
-
LMAO...Snyder sounds like he's been hanging around Dobby and Jezzy too much!
-
Ha! Dobby got his little behind smacked and is pouting. He was trying to get Waldo and I told him we don't eat our friends! He'd been stalking Snyder for the last hour, but was entirely unsuccessful at getting close because she was on me the entire time. :)

Congrats! Now its all down hill from here!

LMAO! I can just picture Dobby sulking in the corner...."Friends, schmiends! Who ever thought anything that small and quick should be counted as a friend?"
-
LOL Judy! It's not fair to stalk somebody by sitting on top of their home and trying to stick claws through the mesh. :)
