Midnights
Hey all just wondering if anyone else is working midnights? I get off at 6am and can't wait tomorrow is my first day off of work and school in over a month. So how bout it anyone else like me and working on staying awake?
-
I work nights, 12 hour shifts. I don't mind it for the most part; nice not having the bosses around but it sucks for family time and trying to flip flop between a "day" schedule on days off and then going back to nights and staying awake the entire time when a work day rolls around.

I hate flipping schedules, I work half midnights half afternoons because of school so I'm always confused on wither I'm supposed to be awake or asleep haha. Two an a half more years and hopfully ill be done with school and working at a fire hall! I can't wait for that day being a CNA is a draining job

I just got hired along with my girlfriend as CNAs on the overnights (11-7) shift. We have orientation starting tomorrow and I'm curious to see we will handle the awake/sleep change. We will be going to school this spring as well, but have it for nights and weekends to keep it somewhat the same.

Good luck CNA jobs can be fun I love my job but its very tiring some days and gets sad specially when someone you work with for a while passes but it's a good job I like it at least and until I get outta college it's best paying job I can find. What I don't enjoy is I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick cuz every resident in my building is getting a cold with the temps dropping so fast.(I'm in northern Minnesota)

I'm in the emergency room, should be interesting. Haha.
