I went to get Ozzy out this evening since I haven't seen him since he ate Monday and the ole eyes are blue so I took him out of his hide and laid him on my son's shirt and got some tepid water and spray misted him fairly well
Ok here is the dumb part of this post :)
When you guys say you mist your bp you do mean the bp and not the cage?
He seemed a little ticked at first then relaxed so I let him sit a while then put him back in the cage and he made a be-line for the warm hide

I was correct in what I did? I also upped the humid. in his cage

Last shed I never misted him :) and it was a prefect shed

Please tell me I didnt screw up :o

Depending on what type of enclosure hes in you can mist the back wall and/or the cover (I like misting the rubbermaid top) , bumps the humidity up to about 80% for a good length of time. I mist once when I wake up, and once when I go to bed if it needs it.

You certainly didn't screw up. Nothing wrong with giving the snake a little man-made (or woman-made in this case!) rain shower. If he had a perfect shed last time, though, I would just try to do the same thing I did last time, rather than adding any new tricks. Why fix what isn't broken? :)

Yeah I gotta tell ya, Hissy HATES being misted directly!! In fact, she hisses at the misting of the tank most of the time. I opened the tank today & reached right next to her to grab a piece of duct tape that fell into the tank & she did not even flinch for a second at my hand being right next to her, which was wierd. But, then i started misting the back of the tank & she started living up to her name! So, i misted her a little bit & she REALLY started hissin away. She is just so damn adorable. What a little character!!

LOL. Being a Georgian, I've been hearing about James Brown for years. He and Hosea Williams had a lot of similar adventures. There's nothing sexier than a drunken old wife beater in a bathrobe, as we all know.
