    Saved these babies from the feeder tub at the pet store

    Beige rats are black rats that are diluted to that color by the red eye gene.

    Cute! I still haven't stopped getting interesting colors off of my black and cream pairings. I've gotten at least 2 shades of blue/grey, and 2 visibly different shades of cream (plus a pair of siamese babies!). Rat genetics are fun :D
