    Whats A BP's Striking Distance?
    I Was wondering wat is my bp's striking distance, im very curious, since she bit me and i felt like this is a need to know

    A snakes striking distance is roughly 1/2 - 2/3 of it's body length, though many of mine will actually close in first and then strike, they do it so fast it looks like one movement.

    It all depends on the snake's length. They can be very deceptive as to when and how far they can strike.

    like has been said at least 1/2 there length. just watch what there doing and try not to get bit. i have one girl that is mean. not cage aggresive but acctually tries to bite me anytime she can and just by watching her and being carfull i dont get bit all that often

    x2 for dr del. 2 of my biggest girls will charge out from the back of their tubs when im feeding without any sense of direction or aim, mouths WIDE open and just try and grab onto whatever they hit first. so in this case, just about their whole body length. lol

    I say 1/2 just because they don't want to leave room for error. Unlike venomous snakes that launch themselves close to there body length just because one fang hit does the job. IMO
