Poor aim

I hate my snake hits the rat in the butt. The poor rat suffers and I have to thump the rat in head to try.and kill it so it won't bite her. All I can get right now are small rats and I think once.a week isn't enough.

Those rats do look a little small. If those are the biggest you can get, consider offering two per feeding. Offer the first, then wait until it is completely swallowed and offer the next.

Pre kill, f/t, or stand by with a pair of tongs, or pencil or something to stick in the rats mouth until your snake kills it.

I feed on Thursday and somehow they know its time they are out moving around looking for food. My baby 190g was striking before I put the mouse in. After he ate he was crawling around the tub wanting me to take him out or just wanted more food.

Time to buy frozen/thawed or build yourself a killbox(CO2 chamber) to quietly kill your snake food.

where would i find plans to build one?... i been thinking about breeding rats so this might be useful for over flow of rats..

Youtube has quite a few diy videos. I think there are a few in the diy section of this site as well.
