    Blood on anus?
Hi ill explain anything I think may be asked real quick. He is a GREAT eater on thawed rats. Never had an issue before. Well he just shed and did his normal poop/pee with it. So I took him out. Cleaned his cage and placed him back in. Well I noticed red spots on the paper towels. Nothing big just like someone took a marker and made a few small marks. So I got him back out and he had a lil red at the bottom of his anal plate. I am wondering if I should worry about this? or if this is normal. He is healthy as can be or seems to be? Almost a year old and where he is a pied the red really stood out on the white. I know sometimes if the urates are hard it can irritate and cause blood? Anyways thanks and if you need any questions answered lmk thanks alot!

If the blood spots showed up after the shed that is pretty common and as long as it's a small amount(a couple of small spots) then there is nothing to worry about.

I've had small amounts of blood after a shed with mine before. Like stated, it can be common. If he is a pied and on paper towels it is just going to show up better. As long as isn't much and doesn't continue I think you're good.

Looks like a very normal post-shed status.
All of my snakes have done it on more than one occasion. Some of those snakes have bloody vents after every shed. Very normal. Nothing to worry about. :)
