Just wanted to share my delight at the gift my girl gave me this morning! I would have taken a pic, but only Randy would have appreciated it. ;)
For those who missed the whole story, Snyder was a mess when I got her for my birthday in December. She was skinny, dehydrated, covered in mites, showing neuro symptoms not long after arrival, and the vet said she was sure Snyder was full of parasites (there was no fecal to check) and gave her Panacur but still didn't give her good odds of survival. Needless to say, her sheds were piecemeal and required help on my part.
Now, though, after diligently using her "natural" humid hide (out of her enclosure she'll accept a Gladware container, but inside she ignores it, so I hooked her up with a stone bowl with water and an overturned basket over the top of it), she left a big pile of shed and urates and a second big pile of poop. :)

That's great news, Marla! I'm really happy for you and Snyder.

You're such a good snake-mommy!! Awesome news! Your vet will be very proud of you, I think!

Thanks, y'all! I am sure that Snyder is every bit as happy about it as I am, and I'll bet her vet will be impressed with how well she's doing. Now I just need to get her fattened up a little more ... :)

Awesome! Goblin shed perfectly for me last week, so I know what a relief it is. It is kinda funny though when they shed and, uh, defecate all at once!

Good for Snyder!! Great news marla gotta love those three for one sales they give ya! :P

I just look at it as simplified cleanup. ;) It's definitely a relief finally to have a good shed, and I know that goes for Snyder too.

That is indeed good news!

Yep! she's feeling much better. she hung out with me very relaxed for the last few hours. I just put her up. :)
