    Is 24% just too much?
I have a 61.5g BP and the smallest live mice I can find in my area are adults. I searched my local pet store for the smallest I could find and it turned out to be 14g. I know there was a thread very similar to mine a short time ago but I can't seem to find it. So is 24% of his body weight too much or would it be ok, just not ideal?

nvm I finally found the thread and its appears that it will be ok...

Should be ok, but I would think you'd maybe want to stretch feedings apart a couple days more than normal. At least until your BP gets bigger. I am sure someone with more experience can add to this.

14 grams is about perfect for that size of a hatchling should it want to eat

14g is definitely 'hopper' sized in my opinion. Adult mice I've thrown on the scale have always been 22-30g.

Just supervise the feeding and be ready to intervene.

I say to go for it. Your BP should be able to handle it. The BP will generally not go for a mouse if it is too big of a meal. As a general rule, they know if they can take it.

Thanks everyone. Odin ate those mouse just fine although it took him a while before he would stick his head out of his hide and go for it. He seems to be very cautious, although the mouse had no chance ones he set his eyes on it.
