Healthcare GRR

So, I'm contemplating going back to the hospital.

Was in Friday because of my lack of breath, wheezing, lung rattling, etc. also have a bad cough and my nose is permanently plugged.

I have asthma. They said it was all due to an asthma attack. Hooked me up to a ventilin machine and then sent me home.

Now it's Tuesday. Doctor said to come back if it's still there. It is. I've been taking cold pills, cough syrup, sucking on halls. I've been covered in vapor rub for a few days now.

I dunno if I really want to go back though or if I should just suck it up. :( I hate going to the hospital, especially having asthma as they always think that's the cause :(

Take a bit bowl and a heaping teaspoon of vicks vaporub, and about 10 drops of eucalyptus oil. Fill the bowl with BOILING water, stir the vicks til it's about gone. Put a towel over your head forming a tent above the bowl. KEEP YOUR EYES SHUT OR IT WILL BURN! BREAAAAAAAAAAAAAATHE in for as long as you can stand. Guarantee it will clear something out!

I don't have eucalyptus oil. Would Vicks and water work? I have my humidifier going right now and have vapor rub on my feet haha :(

The oil really really helps, it's about $5 at any grocery store that carries essential oils, if you can convince anyone to go get it for you!

Do you have snot and drainage or could your nasal passages be swollen? Take a cold medicine with ibuprofen in it.

I recommend a steamy hot shower!

I went back to the doctors.

No signs of pneumonia on my X-rays. He gave me some steroids to help my lungs. Hopefully I feel better soon.

For your sinuses, you can try a Sinus Rinse bottle, or a Neti pot. You can get either one, and the saline mix for them at most pharmacies. It feels weird when you use it, but your sinuses feel great after you get them all flushed out...
