    Neosporin and ball-pythons...
I am so excited. Since I've had Pauliocho, he's only taken live mice, and he's big enough to take med rats. So I figured I'd get him on ft before I switched to rats. Well, he likes live. But, tonight, he took a fresh killed mouse as his 2nd. Next, I'm gonna give him both fresh killed. Right now, his head is out of his feeder box, and he's watching me type. I'm so excited.

thats good news, but you should really try sticking to one prey-item per feeding.

Even when he should get larger prey items? This is the 2nd time I've fed him 2 mice per feeding. Any tips on getting him to eat rats faster?

I think your on the right track Crazy, you dont mind me callin you crazy do ya? One step at a time F/T first, I dont think a few meals of two mice is gonna hurt so long as, you know, hes not eatin mice like m&ms. Once hes eating F/T than you can start the struggle Im in, switching to rats.

I agree with Paul, I think you're on the right track. When you do switch to rats you might want to try scenting them with a mouse at first so that they smell familiar as well.
