I hope that this snake ends up with a clean bill of health. Also, 400 pounds for a hypo? I knew that prices in Europe were higher but not 50% or more!

That seems a little steep, but im paying around 500 - 700 euros for sup adult to adult females i.e. pastel, lesser, mojave, black pastel, etc. hatchlings for just about anything single gene except normals fo for 200-400 euros, some double gene stuff falls in that range, super pastels and such, some go WAY higher.... hell albinos are still about 500 euros for a 'well established' snake...

Yikes man! It would definitely be cheaper to buy them bulk from here in the States and pay for the import permits! Get about a dozen people or so together that want to buy multiple snakes and order about a dozen each. You could also sell some of the extras to make back most if not all of your money, I'd imagine.

Easier said than done. I was looking into it, and talked to a few breeders and exporters last time I was in the states as well as some people here, general consensus is unless you plan on importing somewhere in the range on 100,000$ of snakes the fees are not worth it. Prices are slowly starting to come down though, and it seems what was a few years ago hottness in the states is todays hottness here. Still no Coral Glows here that I have seen. Thats sort of a goal of mine, though I do not see it happening, is having one brought to me when one of the breeders attends a convention here. Although I will likely start with something a little cheeper in the states thats not readily available here.

Yeah, but coral glows suck, and while this might get me into trouble with some of them (who cares though), I say screw all the people that are not breeding them and hording them to keep the prices high. I don't think that they look that good and I am seriously thinking that there might be some problems breeding them, aside from what is known, otherwise I feel like there would be many more examples of a dominant morph out there.
