How long before you name him lucky.
Ok so my carpet has been a trouble eater since I got her a month ago guessing due to new home and all that any how I bought her a live rat today she struck it and missed the wrap
up a half hr ago and now her and the rat are In like an epic battle of who's going to flinch first. Not gonna take him out cuz don't wanna get bit but how long do you all normally wait until you name the live food lucky an pull them out??
Not the greatest pic taken in the dark but here's been the stand off of the last half hr http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/10/02/yba6ujep.jpg

    The Serpent Merchant
20-30 minutes max for live food, overnight for frozen/pre-killed.

I feed live and the longest i wait is maybe 1 minute. i've waited longer before but normally if they don't take it in the first 30 seconds it's not gonna happen. so anymore i offer wait a minute if nothing they go back in the rack and try again in 3 days.
