Water hater?

My lil girl can't stand to be in water even if it's shallow enough for her to lay in. She had a not so great shed, she got about 90% off but her neck still has some 2 days after she shed the rest so I'm letting her lay in warm water for a little bit, but she really hates it. I have balled up paper towels for her to coil or rest her head on, but all she does is try and get out :( any ideas?

What kind of enclosure is she in?

When you say "warm" do you mean warm to you?

The water should be in the low to mid 80's. I have a watch with a thermometer I put in the water so I can tell when the warm is good for a snake. Warm to you will be hit to a snake.

That said. Mine will also try to get out of the water. I just hold it while it is in the water and she calms down.

There are methods (such has letting your snake slither through a warm damp towel) that are a lot less stressful to your snake than taking a bath.

Bathing your snake is really not a great idea it is stressful and stress can cause several other issues.

Don't bother your snake, just correct the issue.

Raise your humidity, which is clearly too low to 50%. Next time you see your snake dull out and go "blue" bump up the humidity even more for a week.

A bit of shed isn't stressing your snake... bathing it is
