    1. Get a big bucket or container and put hot hot water in it. Place the rat/mouse in a baggie and put the baggie in the water. Keep it in for 1hr.

    2. I let my snakes soak in luke warm water for an hour or two everyday while they're in shed.

I do it in a plastic bag under their heat bulb. Others use hot water while it's in a zip lock.

Just raise the humidity, mist a bit more for sheds.

    1. The way I do it is by filling a container up with hot (not scalding, but hot) water and then putting the rodent in the container and leaving it until it is thawed. This process takes less time and is easier IMO.

    2. When my snakes are in shed, I mist them once a day and have had nothing but perfect sheds. But I use rubbermaids as cages so they hold humidty well anyway. You may need to do some extra work if you're using a glass tank.

The best to do while in shed is to leave them alone, thats pretty much it. Especially while in hardcore shed mode. Raise your humidity levels to about 70-80 and make a humid hide if you dont' already have one.

To keep humidity you can also duct tape half the top of the tank....the screen lid that is.
