Tagged, 1st time, plenty of blood...(pics and culprit)
Well, I took the big girl out today to get some one on one time. However, when I got her out, I noticed she was in shed. I was adjusting her, as she had my left wrist caught up. I finally got it out, and she came around to the left and my hand moved quickly in front of her. She bit fast, and hard, but let go right away. So happy she did. However, here she is, and the bite below. If you don't like blood, then don't scroll down.....

I had a tetnus shot in 2008-2009 (from a dog bite lol) which is good for 10 years...(hopefully helps)

I washed it out it for 2 minutes, rinsed it for 2 minutes, peroxide, polysporin....

How it looks all cleaned up. The flash shows more than I could have seen.

:salute: She got you good, my friend. I've never been bitten by my boa, but my boyfriend has twice, and the second time she got him good! Went almost across three whole fingers and constricted before letting go. I think he learned after that to not fix her aspen in front of her face again! :P (We think his hand waving back and forth on the floor right in front of her set her off)

I recently got a Tetanus shot a few months ago and they said they're good for five years. :confusd: Maybe they judge the time it stays effective by age groups? (I'm 22)

One link here, the answer was, if a booster is required after 5 years, it is suggested, but will last 10 years. So, I guess the first 5 years is the most effective when you have it.

Hm, so I guess they say five years just to be on the safe side.

With my job, I cut my hands a lot, so getting these shots is very normal for me lol. Rusty vents, and dirty nails etc...

the dog bite I got was a dozie too. I was off for a month of work. the home owner invited me in (I'm the cable guy), and i didn't even get my foot in, and the dog had my right hand in it's mouth...
