My BP Bobs his head up and down while eating?
Hello!
I have a BP I've had for about a month. It seems that after he strikes his prey, and during the process of swallowing his food, i noticed that he bobs his head up and down. With the mouse in his jaws, he's move his head up and down for a few minutes. Is this normal? I tried to look for any info online, but it seems like this is what they call "undulating," and his perfectly normal? Do all BPs tend to do this? Thanks!!

I'm not 100% sure, but by the colors it looks like the most common breed of BP.

Can you post a pic? My Bumblebee has issues striking but once she starts eating she doesnt bob her head. Could it be that he is "moving" the mouse further down his throat?

Thats what it seems like. Seems like he's either trying to make sure the mouse is dead or trying to move it further down into his belly. From the responses so far, it seems like this isn't common amongst BPs? Hmm... I'll post a picture as soon as I can. Since he just ate, I don't want to stress em out too much.
