She comes out.

So since I've gotten my carpet I've been working with her 5 days outta the week for twenty mins to get her to trust me and come out of her tub with our striking at me when ever I touch her with my hand, she doesn't mind the hook at all just. And today she finally decided to come out a little bit 😄 she kept her tail wrapped firmly to her perch in her tub but didn't mind me holding her body or using the hook to move her. Only hissed a bit.

Did you get her to eat yet?

Not yet, I'm going to pick up a live rat on Friday(stores out till then.) so hoping the live will do it. She seems to be getting calmer, but she was a spitfire before haha never thought I could move that fast 😝

Is she hissing or doing the carpet hissing, i have talked to a few people that carpets tend to do a "carpet hiss" when being help. Mine does, it sounds like shes hissing while being help but its just her breathing heavily. it really freaks my gf out big time now she will not come in the room if my carpets out, truthfully i dont blame her shes bigger than me and my gf lol

She used to hiss when ever my hand got into the tub but now she'll just hiss when I'm working with her like moving her and all that so it's probably just the hiss your talking about. I love working with her tho she's so much different then my ball she can make the heart pump a little bit 😜 haha

If she doesn't take the live I would say cut back on how much you are working with her until she gets on a regular feeding routine. Might help a little.

And of coarse ill keep you all updated, your the only people that I know that get as excited as I do about snakes 😁 I brag to my friends about my new snake coming out and their reactions are along the lines of what's a carpet and a snake have to do with each other and what do you mean a snake can be stressed out 😕

i feel like i brag more about my snakes than anything. My gf is out of town for the week visiting her family. I called her last night so excited to tell her that my female JCP just shed and the shed was 6 ft 11 inches long! and that im going to start looking for a male pure JCP for pairings, she was not that thrilled, me on the other hand i stayed up till 3:30 am looking at JCP males. Got to love your hobby or it is not worth it to keep doing it.:gj:

I agree with you there either love what your doing or why are you doing it? I asked a girl if she wanted to see my six am a half foot snake she didn't find my play on words funny or find my carpet very cute, I think there needs to be more herp girls haha.
