Just curious what others do....and if you've ever had any bad experiences feeding while in shed.

I've never feed my BP while in shed. I prefer to leave him be during this uncomfortable time.

The other day I did go ahead and feed my Kingsnake while he was in the shed cycle (he was at the point where his eyes had cleared, but hadn't actually shed his skin yet). I made sure to feed him a smaller fuzzy than he usually gets, but he's a bit underweight and I thought I'd see how it went. Of course, he's a typical Kingsnake and will eat anything, anytime.

my snakes eat fine pre-shed, but i wouldn't ever try feeding during the actual shed itself.

Pretty much stays on schedule, but did turn down a meal once while in shed. His eyes were at their cloudiest, though. Tried again two days later and the rat was history.

Mine will generally turn down a meal if they can't see, but once their eyes clear up, they're fine to eat.

I don't while in shed. It takes him about 5 days to get done with his shed so he is nice and ready for his meal :D
